“A Church for Monday” Conference Simulcast
set for October 5, 2019 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church
(Naples, FL –August 15, 2019) – Emmanuel Lutheran Church will be hosting A Church for Monday: The Common Good Conference on Saturday, October 5, 2019. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Church located at
777 Mooring Line Drive in Naples.
A Church for Monday: The Common Good Conference is a one-day, multi-site gathering to help equip and encourage attendees to more thoughtfully connect their faith and their work, embrace God’s calling in all aspects of life, and explore ways the Church can be a faithful presence in our communities. This conference is opened to the public and will include speakers both local and national.
The conference will address themes such as:
“How can we understand a sense of God’s calling wherever we work?”
“How do we become champions of human dignity in our work?”
“How can the church be a faithful presence in the community?”
Faith based leaders from across the nation scheduled to speak at the interactive video conference include: Tom Nelson, Bryan Loritts, Larry Osborne, Helen Hayes, Thomas Kim, Winnette Mcintosh, Robin John and Karen Ellis.
