Welcome to Emmanuel Academies, a Naples-based not-for-profit, created to equip future church leaders and provide high-quality theological continuing education.
Emmanuel's Pastoral Leadership Degree Program was developed to help address the shortage of pastors and to identify and form qualified “called” future pastors from diverse backgrounds to become skilled and knowledgeable pastors. Our program is a highly innovative collaboration with nationally recognized, accredited educational partners through which select students earn a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Divinity or a Doctor of Ministry degree.
In our unique programs, students study and work in their own communities, which enables them to be nurtured and raised up as leaders in their home churches. Learning is highly experiential, outcome-based, and mentor-oriented.
Through conversations we have learned that there are many adults who feel called to serve their church but traditional seminary was not an optimal fit based on their circumstances. Our Master of Divinity program is an alternative pathway to the Master of Divinity and ordination as a stand alone degreed program for adults at all ages and stages of their lives!
Our Doctor of Ministry degree provides advanced education and professional development for pastors already serving in congregations.
Students have the opportunity to further develop skills in leadership, management, collaboration, and fund raising, preparing them to lead a vibrant community of faith.
Our Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian thought and principal prepares high school graduates to flourish in their chosen vocations and to engage in further study at the masters or doctoral level.
Our innovative programs are significantly less expensive than traditional programs, and thanks to grant funding and the support of generous donors, significant scholarships are available.

Our History
Emmanuel Academies is a ministry of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Naples, FL. It was founded in Spring 2017 to develop and implement innovative educational programs to equip a new generation of leaders to preach, teach and reach others for Christ.
